This workshop is for those interested in fusing spoken text with dance. Through a series of improvisational exercises, we will be looking at: What are effective strategies to incorporate spoken text into choreographic structures? How do dance and spoken text differ in the way they communicate with audiences? What roles do juxtaposition, collision, overlapping play in that respect?
