_{The context of Inhabiting Erasures 2# is a protest against the ‘erasure’ of women through violent acts of misogyny. It follows Rakini's 2021 Exhibition at Articulate in 2021, which explored attitudes of female shame that incites femicide, female infanticide, and other forms of erasure. In the context of these atrocities, the work explores several metaphors of erasure with traces of the (absent) female body materialising as spectral residue. The work in progress was developed between Moruya NSW, and Sydney over Feb 2022. Rakini and Liberty will “inhabit” Glebe Town Hall the second week of March, culminating in a 2-hour sharing. Each 20-minute segment will incorporate/add layers of imagery before reaching a conclusion in the last segment.}
